Sanjo Legacy
(Jalna's
Jasmin x Collina Lorelei)
1984 chestnut mare
Lacey carrys many crosses
to Jubilee King in her pedigree. She has been our premier brood mare for many
years producing seven foals to date. Crossed with Constant, she produces
beautiful classic Morgans that are the delight of their new owners. All of
Lacey's foals have matured to better than 15hh and they all carry the beautiful
flaxen mane and tail.
Columar
Christie
(Columar Callaghan x Columar Cayenne)
1990 chestnut mare
Small in stature but a lion at heart, Christie
was purchased from Janet and Frank Hennigar of Columar Morgans in 1994. She is a
Californio granddaughter and the only foal the Hennigars raised by Columar
Callaghan (aka Bay Boy) before he was sold to Quebec, Canada. Christie has had
two foals since coming to Beinn Bhreagh. Beinn Bhreagh Glory by Constant of
Quietude and Beinn Bhreagh Argyle by Beinn Bhreagh
Courage.
Whippoorwill
Carisma
(Correll's Comet x Whippoorwill Charm)
1987 chestnut mare
Carisma is a
big sturdy mare with attitude to spare! She was purchased from Larry Sheridan in
1992. Prior to coming to Beinn Bhreagh Morgans, she was shown extensively -
excelling in harness both singly and as a team with her mother, Whippoorwill
Charm. Beinn Bhreagh Bailey has been her only foal since coming to us. She's so
much fun to ride that Shoneth hesitates to breed her again!
Debonaire Ashdale
(Equinox Debonaire x Jalna's RH Shannon B)
1986 bay mare
A
grandaughter of the horse that's the reason we have Morgans - Winston Mandate.
Larry spent his teenage years hanging out at George Wade's Hobby Horse Farm and
the only horse that was always available for him to ride was the stallion
Winston. We first met Ashdale when her owner brought her to Beinn Bhreagh
Morgans to be bred the first year we offered Constant to outside mares. Besides
being a very pretty mare, she was a delight to have around. When she was offered
for sale several years later, we bought her in a flash! She is the perfect horse
to have. Anyone can ride her and feel completely safe. Because she is so much in
demand as a saddle horse, she has not had any foals since we bought her - maybe
next year! Thank-you to Bill Atwater of Debonaire Morgans in Havre Boucher, Nova
Scotia for raising this lovely animal and to Bobby and Brenda Boudreau of
Arichat, Nova Scotia for selling her to us.
